Fall Mini Sessions

Thank you for booking a Fall Mini Session!

These sessions have been part of my fall season for more than ten years, and I love seeing familiar families return while meeting new ones along the way.

My style is a mix of natural portraits, candid moments, movement, and fun, with warm, timeless editing.

Your Session

30 minutes

Approximately 20 edited images

High resolution colour JPEG files

$300

Payment

Payment is due the day of your session by cash or Email money transfer.

Your gallery will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks.

Location

Fall Minis are held along Courtice Road in Clarington, Ontario, near the Courtice Road exit.

I use three nearby locations along the same road and choose the best one based on fall colour, light, and the time of the month.

I will send a reminder email a few days before to remind you of your session and to give you specific directions and parking information as well as the best meeting spot.

If I make a small location change because the colour is better nearby, I will always let you know by email and keep the change as convenient as possible.

Weather

Fall weather can be unpredictable. Some years are warm and green, while others are cool, colourful, rainy, or windy.

Cloudy weather is completely fine for photos.

If steady rain looks unavoidable, I will contact you and your session will be moved to the next best available fall date.

I do my best to make weather decisions early enough to avoid unnecessary travel.

What to Wear

Think coordinated, not matching.

Choose colours that complement each other rather than putting everyone in the same colour block.

Fall tones, neutrals, denim, knits, florals, soft patterns, and layered textures all photograph beautifully.

Movement is also lovely in photos, so dresses, skirts, soft sweaters, and fabrics with a little flow can work really well.

Most importantly, wear something you feel good in.

Consider the full look, including hair, shoes, jackets, and the temperature. Comfortable families photograph best.

Your Photos

Your session includes approximately 20 professionally edited images.

I select the strongest photographs from your session. If there are a few extra images that are strong enough to include, I am happy to add them at no additional cost.

Your finished gallery will be emailed to you within 2 to 3 weeks.

Please download your images and save a backup copy once you receive them.

Before You Arrive

Please arrive a few minutes early and fully ready to begin.

Use the exact address provided in your Reminder email.

Dress for the weather.

Watch your email in case there is a weather or location update.

And most importantly, do not worry about perfect poses or perfect behaviour. We will keep things relaxed, move around, and create a mix of beautiful portraits and natural moments.

Ashley Topping Photography will photograph and document the session in candid and portrait style photography. Your Photography session is an artistic interpretation of imagery and can be used for personal and family use only. Ashley Topping photography retains the digital copyright to these images and can use them for brand building and portfolio/ business use. Print release and shared copyright for personal and family use for sharing on social media and in print is granted to client. Order your own prints, photo book and photography products at your preference and share and love your photos!

When Printing

Images are High resolution Jpeg Files. They are sized as very large digital format images. This allows you to print both standard sized photography prints like 4-6 up to 11x14 sized images and larger. If you are looking for where to print, I like Blacks.ca. Just be sure you avoid printing in seconds at photo kiosks. These quick prints don't always represent the best print quality.
